Industrial Pesquera Santa Priscila S.A. produces and exports Shrimp (Litopenaeus Vannamei) since year 1976.
Besides being shrimp producers also produce Fresh and Frozen Tilapia (Oreochromis Niloticus) . We also produce and export Mango.
Most of our farms are found a few meters from the sea. This group of farms are located along 16 km in front of the beach. The average ocean salinity is about 36 ppt.
The shrimp is transported into refrigerated trucks to the processing plants in Guayaquil.
We have six laboratories for larvae production. Our larvae laboratories and our factory of balanced food cover our demand without using antibiotic in any of the processes.
• All areas are isolated to avoid contamination
• Strict biosecurity protocols
• Friendly environment program
• Worker safety
In our labs, we count with maturation facilities with systems of high quality environment (Direct seawater supply system or recirculating systems option, as well as, production tanks with temperature control) and an advanced water treatment system.
Our factory of balanced food covers our demand without using antibiotic in any of the processes.
Installation includes wheat milling process line, and a cook plant and a steam dryer for producing fish and shrimp meal.
The plant also includes a liquid waste treatment area.
In 1976, Industrial Pesquera Santa Priscila began as shrimp packager and exporter.
Within more than 40 years it was strengthened with the creation of several additional divisions as: balanced food plants, laboratories, maturation, packaging and export plant, thus achieving an optimum distribution of the costs for production and processing.
From 1996, a new line of production was developed-TILAPIA. Tilapia as well as shrimp exports are supported by a good quality control system under the FDA approval, and the fulfillment of the HACCP regulation control .
We do not use antibiotics in any of our processes.
We export more than 3900 containers yearly.
